ABOUT FAMOUS PEPPERS
We are the Famous Peppers Family, and this is our story.
In 2003, our family wanted to build a restaurant which would provide our local community of Cardigan with top quality food made and sourced locally. We have always had a passion for pizza. Big pizza chains were plentiful, but we couldn’t find anyone using natural local ingredients, so we knew this was our path, simply because we just loved pizza and wanted to ensure it was done right! So, on the 15th of December that year, our very first Famous Peppers restaurant opened, and our company was born. We have thoroughly enjoyed serving local schools and families with our creations!
A few years later our family grew when we teamed up with two like-minded individuals who brought the same passion, respect, dedication and enthusiasm for innovation and who helped us grow. Now, almost 20 years after launching our first Famous Peppers restaurant, we have 5 brands, some of which are Pathfinder Foods, Crafter’s Smokehouse and BBQ, Khoaw Pon Authentic Thai, Pure Island Produce and over 60 motivated and committed team members who help us provide Islanders with delicious food using premium authentic ingredients all while supporting local farmers and businesses. We truly believe that these things have a big impact on living a happier, more fulfilling, more successful life while leaving as little impact on our planet as possible.
Famous Peppers has certainly paved the way to our many different ventures through the countless relationships which we have forged. We have been able to bring to life our various restaurant themes and we have always done it living according to our credo of quality over compromise. Each day our business grows, shifts, and adds new chapters to its story, and we attribute our success to the unwavering support of our community and the honesty and loyalty of our team members. We pay a 15% premium by sourcing locally, but we feel it is important to support Islanders. We also know that the money we spend gets circulated back to our local community and subsequently to the families who support us.
